5 Months!

Liam is already 5 months old, it's just crazy! Everyone has told me over and over again to soak up every single second when they are babies, because it's gone before you know it. It's SO true. 

This month was my first overseas trip after having Liam. I have been dreading this since I was pregnant. I travel at the same time every year and I knew there would be no getting out of it! Trey's Mom came in to help while I was gone and I know Trey and Liam both loved it! I woke up to lots of pictures and videos which really helped me get through my days! Thanks Annie for helping out :) I am so glad it has come and gone - it was so hard leaving! Thankfully it wasn't terribly long, 9 days, and I was so busy, it went by pretty quickly. I have never been so happy to get home! 

Milestones:
1. First Tooth!! Liam's first tooth broke skin this past week! We figured he had to be teething because his hands, or entire fists, are constantly in his mouth and he drools NON stop! And if you let Liam grab your finger, that's going in his mouth too. That's how I realized he had one coming through! 

2. Rice Cereal (or Rice Krispies as my friend Natalie so innocently thought it was :) ) We started trying to give him Rice Cereal - he hasn't loved it, but it's getting better day by day! He isn't sure about the spoon going in his mouth and gives me a terrible face when he tastes the cereal, but we are working on it each day. I will be excited to start real food soon! Hopefully he likes that better.

3. Rolling Over - He has been doing this for a month or so, but getting much better at it now. He still isn't one of the kids that just rolls all over the floor, but can easily roll from stomach to back and working on getting better at back to stomach.

4. Blowing Bubbles - He has started blowing "strawberries" (I think that's what they call it!) and he does it all the time. Constantly spitting all over himself and me :)

5. Along with the bubbles are the spit covered hands! He is starting to grab our faces - and with his hands constantly in his mouth, it makes for a very wet face! I feel like I constantly smell like spit and throw up!

6. Baths - he finally likes baths! He has started to really kick around and splash the water, thank goodness! It's a much better experience for all these days.

He is also loving to "jump" - whether you are holding him or he is in the jumperoo! He loves it! Other than that, everything is going great! Liam is such a happy and fun baby and we are loving ever second of it!

Lauri and the girls met Liam and I at the Cottonwood Art's Festival near my house! It's an art festival that has food trucks, drinks, booths and lots of kids activities at the park near my house! 

The Future Mr. and Mrs. Goodwin - We already have their wedding plans in the works :)
