Halloween was pretty great this year. Liam is finally at the age to really understand trick or treating, and it was hilarious! He was the most polite trick or treater I've ever seen - saying "Thank You" every time someone would give him candy. And then saying bye and waving the whole way to the side walk. He also wouldn't let the person put the candy in his bucket, he had to put it in there himself. We were dying laughing all night!
We went Trick or Treating with Lauri's girls again this year, which Liam was super excited about. I couldn't talk about Halloween without him saying "Ellie Blakey?", so cute. Ellie and Blake were quickly going from house to house, while Liam was taking inventory of all of us candy. After each house he had to stop and inspect the candy he was given and then make sure the rest of it was still there. We had to keep assuring him that all of his candy was there and to keep moving :) Oddly enough, he wasn't interested in eating a single piece of candy when we got home, but he sure made sure nothing went missing on the walk!
He loved seeing everyone dressed up, except the scarier costumes. If something scared him he would grab on to our legs and say "Scare me!". Ha! But if he saw something he recognized he got super excited. One little boy was dressed as Mickey Mouse and Liam got so excited, you would have thought it was the real life Mickey :)
Liam REALLY loved his costume. He spent the majority of the time holding and hugging it every chance he got!
Here are a few pics from his Halloween Party at school!
And one from our Friday Halloween Movie night!
