27 weeks - 3rd Trimester!

We are officially into the 3rd trimester, I cannot believe it! I am so ready to meet Liam, but I am also liking him safe and sound right where he is right now! The anxiety is starting to kick in that we will have a newborn baby in 3 months!!  So for now, I am happy keeping him close to me in my belly :) We have a Dr's appt on Tuesday for our regular monthly check up and then another sonogram on Friday. I am excited to see how much he has grown and also anxious to hear if he is on track or ahead of schedule. I have had 100 people tell me this past week that I have gotten "so much bigger"!! I felt like my belly had grown, but I guess I really look like it too :) I am a little worried about how much bigger he can get these next 3 months and if he is going to fit in there by the end of it all!

This past weekend I flew to Lubbock for a quick trip to see my friends and family. I was particularly excited to see my nephew Cash! He is growing so quickly - thank goodness for Facebook and facetime! I feel like I still get to watch him grow up, but that still doesn't beat seeing him in person! I posted a funny video below! Cash learned how to play peek a boo by throwing the blanket over his face and pulling it down. It's hilarious!

I also got to spend time with my best friend from 4th grade, Courtni, and her family! Including her Mom, Shirley, who I grew up with as my second mom! We always have a blast catching up and I am so glad they could stop by for a while on Saturday night! I am really looking forward to seeing them again in April for the Lubbock Shower that they are hosting for me. Here are a few pics from the weekend!

While I was there my mom gave me a quilt that she had made for Liam! It has all my colors and  prints we are using in the nursery, I love it!! It turned out so cute and will go perfectly with everything else!

This weekend we are head to Houston to see Trey's family for our first Baby Shower! We are excited to see everyone!

How far along?  27 weeks - Officially into the 3rd Trimester!

Total Weight Gain? 18lbs 

Maternity Clothes?  Both! I did find a great deal at Old Navy this past weekend! They were having a huge sale on dresses, so I bought 5! They weren't maternity, but worked great and will be great for the entire summer after Liam is born! I was super excited that they weren't maternity, because I just can't justify spending anymore money on clothes that will last me 3 months!

Best Moment of the Week? Spending the day with Cash this past weekend!

Trouble Sleeping? Yes, just tossing and turning!

Miss Anything? Sleep, spring time patio drinks :)

Movement? Literally all the time! This kid has to be tired with the lack of sleep he is getting! It's also getting more powerful and a little too close to the ribs! But it's still the best part of pregnancy :)

Food Cravings? Sweets

Belly Button - In or Out? Still in, but stretching...I think its only a matter of time before it pops out!

Symptoms? Lots of aches and pains as he (and I) are getting bigger! 

Wedding Ring - Off or on? On

Happy or Moody? Definitely moody! I can go from happy to tearing up in seconds! This mostly happens when I hear a song on the radio or if I am reading blogs that I follow about their newborn babies or kids. 

Looking Forward to? My first baby shower in Houston this weekend!
