24 Weeks

6 months along and counting! Time is slowing down a bit, thank goodness! But I know the next couple of months will fly by with all the traveling, showers, etc we have planned over the next several weekends!  Right now we are focusing on getting the Nursery complete and getting everything organized and ready for Liam's arrival! I was counting up the # of weekends we have left until he is here and only about 8 of those weekends are open with NO plans of travel, family or anything! Which means the next 16 weeks will be here in no time!

Friday March 1st was Trey and I's 5 year anniversary! I can't believe we have been married for 5 years already, seems like it was just yesterday that we were in Lubbock at our wedding! These past 5 years have been a blast, couldn't ask for anything more! 

Trey and I have actually been together for almost 13 years, but married for 5! We have grown up together and experienced so much as a couple! College, moving to Dallas, buying our 1st house, buying our 1st Cars, Infertility and now finally having a baby! And of course much much more that has made us into the people we are today! With us being together for so long (since we were 18 years old) it's crazy to sit and think about all the growing up we went through together. We were just kids right out of high school when we met and in about 4 months we will be parents to a child of our own! It will be amazing to see how much we have changed these past 13 years and what kind of parents we will be to Liam. I don't know where I would be without Trey in my life, I am thankful everyday for these past 13 years and for what's to come in the next 50+! Cheers to 5 years!

We spent our anniversary by going out to a nice dinner at Del Frisco's Grille in Uptown, where we used to live when we first moved to Dallas. Trey and I love a good dinner and getting out to fun restaurants around Dallas. We know these nights will be few and far between in a few months, so we want to take advantage of the time we have now! 

It was also Cash's 5 month birthday this week so I just had to share these pictures that Megan took of him! He is growing way too fast and I am dying to see him!! 

***The 24 week update is a little redundant from last week....not much has changed!***

How far along?  24 Weeks -6 months!

How big is Liam this week?  Eggplant

Total Weight Gain? 15lbs 

Maternity Clothes? Still wearing both 

Best Moment of the Week? Our 5 year anniversary! 

Trouble Sleeping? Yes, lots of charlie horse's and tossing and turning! I am still trying to learn how to use the pregnancy pillow thing, but it's not helping just yet.

Miss Anything? Sleeping

Movement? All the time! Sometimes it's so much throughout the day I wonder if this is a sign of times to come and if we are going to have a pacer like his Dad :) 

Food Cravings? Sweets

Belly Button - In or Out? Still in, but stretching...a lot!

Symptoms? Aching back, legs and sleepless nights! I know this will only get worse as the weeks pass....

Wedding Ring - Off or on? On

Happy or Moody? Moody - definitely emotional and irritable at times :)

Looking Forward to? Starting a few DIY projects for the nursery! I am not very crafty or handy, but we'll give it a shot!
