4 Months Old

Liam is 4 months old! This month has been a major milestone month! He has really been eating well, sleeping well and just overall a much happier baby! He seems more content from day to day and is really starting to show more personality!  It is getting more and more fun every day! 

We had his 4 month appointment today and everything went great!! 

Weight: 14lbs 6oz - 27%
Height: 25 3/4 - 75%

He grew in length like crazy! She even remeasured after the nurses stats because she thought she had made a mistake! He also had another round of shots, so sad! He obviously hates shots, but doesn't scream for too long! It's still really sad to watch! Here is a before and after pic. Sad little man!

Milestones:
1. Rolling Over - From front to back and back to front a few times at school. Liam sleeps on his stomach because of his breathing and reflux, so he is starting to flip over to his back in the middle of the night.  He isn't used to being on his back, so he won't go back to sleep. I have a feeling this is going to turn into a vicious cycle of me rolling him back over until he learns it on his own!

2. Giggles - He is really beginning to giggle a lot now! It's the cutest thing ever! If I find something that makes him laugh, I just do it over and over again until he doesn't find it funny anymore :) 

3. Talking - He has definitely found his voice! He has been talking for a while now, but in the past few days he has really learned that he can go louder and louder! This goes on forever, but it's so cute! I think he's also starting to learn that it will get our attention. So if we aren't looking at him right then, the louder he gets we look over and he just starts smiling and kicking around!

4. Grabbing toys - This month he has really started to grab toys in front of him, or blankets around him. He loves the little lovey blankets that we have for him! He grabs it and rubs it all over his face and chews on it! 

5. Thumb / Finger Sucking - I don't necessarily call this a "milestone", but it is really cute! He only sucks his thumb or fingers when he's tired or upset, so it's really cute to go into his room in the morning to get him up for school and his thumb is hanging out of his mouth! It's also a huge help in stopping the paci wars that we have had with him!

Just a little lazy football Sunday :) Liam will immediately turn his head and stare at the TV forever when football is on, it's so funny! I even had to turn the TV off one time while I was feeding him so that he would eat!

A few fun video's from this month! He has learned to put everything in his mouth now and is constantly licking his toys, blankets or your shoulder if your holding him!

He is finding his voice more and more every day! He will do this forever and just get louder and louder!
