We stayed in the cutest bed and breakfast in St. Helena called Wine Country Inn. Small, cottage type feel with beautiful views from your room and around the hotel! The rate includes a full breakfast every morning provided by an amazing chef. The food was so good, definitely what we needed to make sure our stomachs were full before our wine filled days ahead! They also set up a wine tasting every afternoon along with a full spread of appetizers! There was so much food it could take place of your dinner! They also provide you with the option to rent their Inn Cursion bus to take you around to the wineries. You can give them suggestions of which wineries you want to see, or you can leave it up to them to pick them for you! She drives you around all day, provides you with water and also makes you lunch!
The original plan was to leave Dallas at noon and arrive in San Francisco around 2 and be at our first winery by 3 or 4, but that didn't work out. We had a crazy day of travel - we boarded and got off of our plane 3 times before we actually took off due to maintenance issues. Longest day ever - but so worth it once we finally got there! We were there just in time for a late dinner and it was the best meal we had while we were there. The restaurant was Goose and Gander - super cool atmosphere and amazing food, highly recommend it!

These are pictures from a morning walk around the hotel - the weather and scenery were incredible!
The first day we got to tour a few of Trey's wine suppliers - William Hill and Louis Martini. They were a lot of fun because we got a private tour through the wineries and production. The wineries and grounds were incredibly beautiful and of course the wine was so good!
This is a view of the William Hill Winery.
The 2nd day we toured a few of the smaller wineries with the Inn Cursion. The bus holds 3 couples, so we had a really nice German couple that actually live in Houston on the bus with us.
My favorite winery of the trip was Reverie. It was such a beautiful place, great wine and great tour!
Here are a few more pics from the trip!
This is Tracy, the Inn Cursion driver! She really made the trip so much more fun!
Our new friends from Houston!
The trip was incredible and exactly what we needed! Great food, great wine and great friends! Can't wait to go back!
