10 Months!

This month was an insanely busy month. We had a full weekend of plans every weekend for about 5-6 weeks straight, and it's not slowing down! We either had someone in town visiting, one of us were out of town, or both of us were gone! Here is a recap of our fun filled month!

Things Liam is loving and doing these days!
1. Talking - He has always been pretty chatty, but a few real words are starting to come out! We couldn't quite understand what he was saying at first, but then his teachers at school pointed out that he's saying "Uh-Oh!". It's so funny to get him going and he says it over and over. He can also wave and says some form of Bye Bye - at least I think that's what he's saying :)

2. Pulling up - He pulls up on everything, to his knees, but hasn't quite made it to his feet yet. He's so close!

3. Crawling - he is finally fully crawling on all 4's, instead of his worm / army crawl. He even mastered it on the wood floor. He is definitely moving around the house a lot more now!

4. Finger Foods - still a struggle, getting better, but a struggle. He can now eat stuff without gagging, but hates the feel on his fingers of anything wet or slimy. He can eat bread, yogurt melts and puffs all day long - but no veggies, fruit, pasta or anything else. This can be super frustrating.

5. Poor Maggie is really starting to hate how mobile Liam is! He is super interested in playing with her and touching her and tries every chance he gets. She is doing very well with him, growls a little, but never snaps. He has even taken hand fulls of her hair and pulled it and she handled it like a champ. Thank goodness! It's so cute to see him smile really big every time he sees her walk into the room!

We took a trip to Houston one weekend to see our favorite band, The Zac Brown Band, at the Houston rodeo. Super fun weekend!

Liam has a thing for tags! He stops whatever he is doing when he finds one and starts sucking his thumb! He has been doing this since he was 5-6 months old, it's really funny!

My sister Megan and nephew Cash also came to visit me! Trey was out of town at a Bachelor party, so they came to keep me company. It was a fun and busy weekend chasing around a toddler and baby! But it was so good to have them here for a while and for the boys to play together! Cash has officially learned who I am and has nicknamed me Ka Ka :) He will point at pictures and say Ka Ka, Baby - it's really cute!

I also got to spend a much needed weekend away with all my closest girlfriends! One of my best friends from college, Alex, is getting married in a few weeks. So we all headed to our friend Whitney's ranch for her bachelorette party! All the pics will not be posted :) but we had an AMAZING time! We have been friends for over 14 years and it's so hard to get everyone together lately. So having all these wedding and baby festivities has given us a great excuse to get together a lot lately! It really made me miss all of them and miss our college days! Loved every second of that weekend and can't wait to see them again in a few weeks for the wedding!

(If I knew how to work photoshop, I would photoshop Natty in :) She was there of course, but was taking a much needed nap during this pic! She was 8 months prego and outlasted at least a few girls every single night! Such a trooper!)

At the end of the month Liam got sick, again. But this time was a little worse than the rest. He came down with RSV with possible Pneumonia and had to be put on breathing treatments. He was home all week from school, doing treatments every 4-6 hours! It has been the saddest thing to see him with that mask on, but hopefully he's getting better. And a huge thanks to Liam's Annie for coming into town to help us out so we could go into work a bit this week!

And a few pics of Liam from month 10!

He's definitely learning to get around and get into everything he see's!

We were comparing our baby pics to Liam's and it just so happens he does look a LITTLE like me too :)

Cute chubby baby feet :)
