Liam is 2! And I can't believe it. This year, just like the first, flew by. I would do anything in the world to slow time down. As fun as it is to see him grow, start talking and doing new things every day - he's officially no longer a baby, and that makes me a little sad!!
This year we had a Monster Truck party for Liam's 2nd Birthday! He is OBSESSED with Trucks - really any kind of car, truck, boat, plane. But trucks are probably his favorite. It was one of his first words and he can tell you the difference in a firetruck, dump truck, tractor, bus...whatever it is. It's pretty funny how excited he gets to see's one of these! So that was the obvious choice for the party theme!
The birthday celebration started on Friday when my family got into town. We took the boys to the pool and they had an absolute blast! Liam was so scared of the water last year, we were curious to see how he would do this year. He LOVES it! Followed Cash's lead and was trying to jump in by the time we left!

The next morning was Liam's actual birthday! So he woke up to streamers in his doorway of his room and playroom, a new Kitchen to play with and birthday donuts!
I had a lot of fun coming up with idea's for this party! It's always intimidating throwing a party for kids, which seems crazy. But they are all different ages, boys and girls - you never know if you have enough for them to do and if the girls will like the boys themes. Maybe it's just me being crazy :) But it turned out great!
The Eagles weren't able to make the party, so they came over Sunday for a mini celebration of gifts and cupcakes!
My parents gave Liam this lounge chair for his birthday, it was a huge hit!
A huge thanks to our friends and family for coming to help us celebrate! It was an awesome weekend, we were so sad to see it end. I can't believe my baby is 2!! Happy Birthday Buddy!
