5 weeks to go! Which really means 4 weeks or so, hopefully :) I wouldn't say I am completely over being pregnant just yet, but I am definitely getting closer and closer! Now that we have everything complete that we needed to do before Liam arrives, I am feeling more ready than ever for him to finally be here. I had a sonogram this week and everything is still looking great and healthy! Nothing new to report there!
One of the strangest things I have noticed while being pregnant, is how EVERYONE I walk past feels the need to talk to me about my pregnancy. I am sure I have been guilty of this too, but I seriously get asked the same series of questions at least 5 times a day.
1) When are you due?
2) Is this your first?
3) Do you know what you're having?
4) What's his name?
Trey witnessed this first hand this weekend as we were running errands on Saturday and Sunday. He was amazed at how everyone we came in contact with had some sort of comment or question for me. He finally said he isn't going in public with me anymore because he is tired of talking to everyone :)
If they aren't asking the series of questions above, I am getting a funny look or comment about how big I am. I am amazed at how many complete strangers feel that it's OK to comment about how large my belly is! Friends and Family - make all the comments you want, I am fully aware of how big my belly is and don't mind talking about it with you! But for a complete stranger to walk up to me in the grocery store and say "Damn Girl, you about to pop any minute aren't you?". REALLY?!?! What in their right mind makes someone think it's OK to say something like that? Yes, I realize I am beginning to look like my belly might explode at any minute or that I might tip over, but a stranger should not be the one to point that out! I am fully aware of how I look, thank you very much :) Next time you see a pregnant women waddling around looking as if she is way past her due date, just tell her how cute she looks and say congrats - that's all she wants to hear!
This past week I had my final baby shower at work. My friend Vivian is the ultimate party planner and did an amazing job, especially for a work shower! It was a lot of fun, super cute and so nice of everyone to come!
How far along? 35 Weeks - 5 Weeks Left!

How far along? 35 Weeks - 5 Weeks Left!
How big is Liam this week? Honeydew
Total Weight Gain? 29lbs
Best Moment of the Week? Mother's Day! Some people say this is an expecting mothers semi 1st Mother's Day, but not really. I am a mom in a sense, but I don't feel like it just yet! But everyone really made it a great day for me! I had perfect strangers tell me Happy Mother's Day several times throughout the week, which I thought was so nice! And Trey made the whole day perfect! It started off with him making breakfast for us and a great gift! He set me up with one of Nordstrom's personal stylists to help me shop for some clothes after the baby is here! Such a perfect gift for someone who is really ready to get into some normal clothes again! And then we just spent the rest of the day hanging out, running errands and playing with Ellie and Blake that afternoon!
Trouble Sleeping? No. Sleep. At. All. It's killing me.
Miss Anything? Sleep and knowing what it feels like to easily get out of bed or stand up from sitting down without every joint in my body aching!
Movement? Constantly! And it's beginning to be painful!! If I am curled up on the couch or when sleeping, it feels as if his entire leg is up in my ribs kicking around! I really don't understand how he can continue to grow for the next 4-5 weeks in there!
Food Cravings? Grilled Cheese Sandwich - it's sad how many I have had in the past two weeks. Sonic Drinks and Ice Cream. All things not good for my scary weight increases :)
Belly Button - In or Out? In but almost out! I am not sure if it will for sure pop out, but it seems like it!
Symptoms? Aches & Pains, constantly out of breath, grumpy, headaches, a little swelling....
Wedding Ring - Off or on? On but very tight by the end of each day!
Happy or Moody? Moody - Grumpy would be a good word for it :) I think the symptoms listed above are getting to me!
Looking Forward to? The Glider finally delivering for the nursery! It should be here on the 27th, fingers crossed! Once it arrives, the nursery is complete!
