37 Weeks - Officially Full Term!

Officially FULL TERM and officially ready for Liam to finally be here! We have absolutely everything ready and my to do list has been completed! The anticipation and excitement of this day finally coming is killing us! We are excited, nervous, anxious - every feeling in the book! But most of all, we are ready to meet Liam and ready to start this new life we have waited many long months for!

At my 36 week dr appts last week we found out that Liam is quite the overachiever! Just 2 weeks ago he was weighing in at 5lbs 5oz and this week he was at 7lbs!!!! They said they could be off by a pound, but still - that just seems crazy! Looks like we will have a big boy on our hands! We also discussed a goal date to be induced. If I haven't had him by Friday June 14th, then we will induce on that day! I am hoping this happens naturally before that date, but if not - at least we have a goal date to keep in mind at this point! 

How far along?  37 Weeks - 2 Weeks Left! Hopefully less than that - as you can see from the picture, there is not much room left for him to grow in there!

How big is Liam this week?  Stalk of Swiss Chard

Total Weight Gain?  32lbs - I will be excited to see this number STOP growing in the next couple of weeks :)

Best Moment of the Week? Spending Sunday evening with my best college girlfriends (minus Julie & Laura ). Whitney came into town with her adorable kids, so Trey & I, Natty & Dennis and Alex & Chris all headed to Fort Worth to have dinner at her parents house. Such a fun night catching up and hanging out again - makes me really miss having everyone in the same city! 

My 2nd best moment of the week was picking up the glider!! The Nursery is finally complete and I love everything about it! 

Trouble Sleeping? What Sleep? I have decided to get sleep where I can these days - so if that means a nap after work and then going to bed later than I would like, then so be it. Anything I can do to get a couple hours of good sleep in.

Miss Anything? Walking without waddling, being active and working out (never thought I would say I missed working out), feeling normal instead of achy and hurting all the time,  not having a giant belly making it hard for me to bend over, walk, put lotion on my legs, get out of bed or fit into a booth at a restaurant....I basically miss my pre-pregnancy body at this point! I have loved most of my pregnancy and have loved the experience pregnancy brings - but I think I am about ready to feel normal again!

Movement? All the time! I still love this part of pregnancy, even when it's painful, it's still the coolest feeling in the world! This is something that I will definitely miss about pregnancy!

I have said this before, but I think he is running out of room! He will stretch out his leg so far that his foot will stick so far out of my skin, it's the strangest thing! I even asked the doctor if it's possible for him to run out of room or for my belly to just bust open at some point :) I seriously feel like my skin is going to break at any second.

Food Cravings? Grilled Cheese Sandwich's, Sonic Drinks & Red Velvet Ice Cream. Another thing I will miss about pregnancy, eating whatever I want :) And if you haven't had the new Red Velvet Ice Cream that is out, it's a must try! Hands down best ice cream ever!

Belly Button - In or Out?  In! I think its staying that way! A little bit pops out if I have had too much to eat, but it goes right back in!

Symptoms? Aches & Pains, emotional, swelling, hot.....

Wedding Ring - Off or on? Wedding band off, but engagement ring on. They both fit, they just don't fit together! Some days, if it's really hot, they are both off - but I am wearing my ring everyday at this point!

Happy or Moody? Emotional! My emotional side has kicked in more these last few weeks than any other time in my pregnancy. The anticipation of not knowing when this will happen, what life will be like, being tired and being tired of being tired along with everything else is all coming to a head and usually results in an outburst of unexplained tears! Trey thinks I have gone crazy :)

Looking Forward to?  Liam's arrival! We are so anxious to meet him and for him to be here and to start this new part of our life! I hope these next 2 weeks fly by!
